RBP Youtube Raider: Juan Manuel Leguizamon’s Butter Fingers

You’re cantering through for a try in a pivotal match and, to mark the occasion, you decide to ostentatiously go for a swallow dive to put the cherry atop the cake.

That is, of course, exactly what Juan Manuel Leguizamon decided to do in the 2007 clash between London Irish and Wasps, but, unfortunately for the Argentinian, his hands turned to butter at the optimum moment and he fumbled the ball, mid air.

Thankfully for London Irish, the missed try didn’t prove a stumbling block, as a late penalty secured a 16-13 victory for the Madejski Stadium side, but it could have been so different after Leguizamon’s moment of madness.

One things for sure, had the mistake proved pivotal then he would have to have bought every round thereafter on team nights out.

Surely it’s only a matter of time until this happens to Chris Ashton?
