It’s the end of an era this weekend, as BOD pulls on the iconic blue no.13 jersey. So the boys at Leinster decided to put a tribute video together for him and it’s brilliant.
It doesn’t seem so long ago he took part in the miracle comeback in Paris in 2000. It is crazy to think the greatest Irish sportsman is finally hanging up his boots.
With the chance of one last piece of silverware tomorrow in the PRO12 Final against Glasgow, it couldn’t have been set up any better for him to say goodbye.
All rugby fans from across the globe can appreciate what O’Driscoll has achieved over the years and the moments of brilliance he has produced time and time again.

BOD is an absolute phenomenon, a true sporting hero of herculian proportions, gracious in both victory and defeat and well able to speak, a sporting gentleman who will never be replaced and will always be remembered. Great tribute from a team that he gave his all for. Hopefully in the future he will continue to make a backroom contribution to Leinster or the Irish rugby team so that his inspiration will continue to exist on the pitch.
