Toulon have confirmed the signing of Argentinian back Juan Martin Hernandez on a six month contract, starting from January.
Hernandez, who has been unattached after leaving Racing Metro earlier this year, is well versed in Top14 Rugby, having previously turned out for both Racing Metro and their Parisian rivals, Stade Francais.
With James O’Connor returning to the Queensland Reds’ to enhance his chances of selection for the Wallabies Rugby World Cup squad, Hernandez, who has also played for the Sharks, will be an ideal, experienced replacement.
