Unfortunately, the Rugby world lost one of it’s foremost back-rows, Stephen Ferris, to injury a few months ago.
For those fortunate enough to have watched the Ulsterman, they could testify, to a man, that the Dungannon flanker was one of a kind, in terms of ball carrying ability and freakishly strong bursts.
No where was this strength evidenced more than during Ireland’s victory over Argentina in 2010, where Ferris, acting as the proverbial cannonball, barnstormed his way through two attempted Argentinian tackles with ease.
