With Brad Thorn, SBW and, potentially, Israel Folau, Jason Robinson is indisputably one of the greatest League converts to Union. Whether at full back or the wing, Robinson made a mockery of the pre-conceived concept of Rugby naysayers that the sport is all about size and strength.
Instead, the World Cup winner used his blistering pace, evasive step and excellent lines to torment defences in both codes for well over a decade.
It was fitting then, that in his last domestic Rugby game for Sale Sharks, that Robinson would finish on a high; scoring a try in typical Robinson fashion.
Crucially, like so many of his other tries, it came in the dying embers of a game and ultimately sealed victory for his team. Truly, Robinson can be regarded as a big game player.
