In a turn of inexplicable bad luck, Mike Brown was penalized in Harlequins’ versus London Irish’s Round One Premiership clash at Twickenham for accidentally tackling a London Irish player after being shoved in the back.
The English full back, who attempted to run a support line off Marland Yarde, was pushed in the back by an Irish player and subsequently fell, tripping over a retreating London Irish player.
From the referee’s vantage, it looked intentional, but, with the aid of retrospect, it was clear that the collision was accidental.
Such is Mike Brown’s form at the moment, he even makes falling look good.
