Ireland & Georgia U18’s Face Off in Penalty Shoot-Out

With the score’s deadlocked at 8-8 at half time, the Irish and Georgian U18’s team went toe to toe in one of Rugby’s rarities: A penalty shoot out.

Supporters will remember the tension and entertainment during Cardiff Blues and Leicester Tigers’ Heineken Cup semi final penalty shoot out  in 2009, and there was similar scenes of drama during this U18’s international clash.

Eventually, the Georgians, who had performed gallantly during regular time, won the shootout 3-1.
