According to reports from the French website Sudouest.fr, Bordeaux have registered their interest in signing Waratahs and Australian utility back Adam Ashley Cooper after next year’s World Cup.
Cooper, 30, is likely to attract interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, but Bordeaux will hope to steal a march on their rivals by preemptively approaching the Waratah.
Meanwhile, Bordeaux have confirmed the signing of Otago winger Jayden Spence as cover for their injured French international winger, Sofiane Guitoune.
