If there was one moment that captured the essence of the game, it was Richie McCaw’s try.

With an advantage, Aaron Cruden went cross field with a booming kick, which was fielded by Kieran Read.

The number eight powerfully rose and fielded the ball before sumptuously offloading for the onrushing Richie McCaw to score.
