RBP Bootspotters Guide

06 - 970 x 250
Our team of bootspotters was back in action this weekend, and they dug up some real beauties, including a very special sneak peak from Malakai Fekitoa, as well as a look at the new special edition Copas!

Joe Launchbury: Adidas FF80

Specially designed for locks and flankers, the FF80 is one the best all around boots a forward can get. They are relatively restrained in design, have massive studs, (perfect for impaling scrum halves) are extremely durable, and yet are very lightweight. The FF80’s are great boots for any back five forward, and they are certainly recommended by RBP.

Beauden Barrett: Adidas Predator Incurza

Barrett has stuck with the choice of most fly halves in 2016. Adidas seem to have the rugby market under their thumb, as they come up with brilliant design after brilliant design. Barrett’s version of the incurza is the new yellow on black design, which give a really good looking twist to the already stunning incurza’s.

Malakai Fekitoa offers sneak peak:

Adidas seem to have sent Malakai Fekitoa a pair of their new boots ahead of the release date, and Malakai Fekitoa was gracious enough to give us a glimpse of the future. I think I speak for all of us when I say that those are some brilliant looking boots. They look extremely light and comfortable, and if Adidas keeps many of the same successful design features from their last few boots, they should be brilliant is most aspects.

New Copas:

New Copas are sort of like a new Porsche. Yes, they are new, but they are going to be the same in pretty much every single way. Not so with the new limited edition model released by Adidas over the weekend. These are Copas we would actually buy, and have even prompted us to stop telling our Copa wearing friends to “get out of the 80’s.”

You can find all these great boots here!
