Samoa internationals Alesana and Anitelea Tuilagi have joined Newcastle Falcons for the 2014-15 Premiership season on two-year deals.

Alesana (33) makes the move from NTT Shining Arcs in the Japanese club competition, the Top League. While Anitelea (27) makes the move from Newport Gwent Dragons.

Both players can play across the three-quarter line, at wing and centre.

“Alesana and Anitelea are quality acquisitions, and have bags of experience at the very highest level,” said director of rugby Dean Richards.

“They have physicality and pace, which is what you need to be successful.”

Both have previous experience with Premiership sides and should add some explosive style to the Falcon’s play next season.

Here at RBP, we love players like the Tuilagi’s, Manu included. They are a rare breed of power, pace and skill who can light up a game in instant.

Remember this crashing hit from Anitelea in 2009 vs. Wales?
