In the recent ITM Cup clash between Hawkes Bay and Wellington Lions, the Lions’ lock/backrow Vaea Fifita smashed Gareth Evans with a late shoulder charge which lead to a rightful sin-binning.
Subsequently, Evans should suffered a broken collarbone and Fifita was rightfully condemned for a heinous ”tackle”.
