Embarrassingly, England lock Tom Palmer once managed to cover his shorts in fox poo during an international game against, to the best of Alex Corbisiero’s recollection, Scotland at Twickenham.

As Corbisiero reveals with great glee, the long haired lock was reluctant to pack down a scrum as the scrum was in the vicinity of a large pile of fox droppings.
